So we have been in the process of selling our house. Donny is going back to paramedic school full-time and it is about an hour 1/2 away. Yes, he could commute and we could keep the house. However, I really feel the need to stay at home with the kids and Donny is not able to work full-time while attending. Plus, just being able to be close to the school and having him come home for dinner everyday is worth every penny in the world!
The house officially sold now and we are moving August 27th. This is just scary knowing that we will not be able to buy a house for a year or so. But my husband is amazing and I know that he will take care of us as he always has!
And knowing that this life is not about the materialistic stuff and whether we own a house or not, is a good thing to keep in mind. We are here on earth to do God's will and store up a treasures in heaven, not here. It is so hard to remember that sometimes though.
So here we go on God's journey and path for our family. Bye, bye, house!!!!!!
Matthew 6:19 Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
