Avery has been begging us to take her ice skating since November. Today we were supposed to go sledding, but because of the rainy weather, we decided to fulfill her dream. It was fun, but it took a toll on our bodies (shows how out of shape Don and I are). The kids did great for their first time, Cooper got the hang of it a little better. Avery fell pretty good twice though and h
as the bruise on her booty to prove it. Cooper did not, so he was a little more risky. Avery decided that she does not want to go back until she has lessons. So we may later in the year after ballet is done. It was a great family outing and the kids really enjoyed experiencing it. Our camera of course had dead batteries, so the pictures were taken with Don's cell phone so the quality is not the greatest.

I think we are pretty smart for doing so, I saw several kids hit their heads pretty hard. We got a few smart comments from childish men onlookers, but better safe then sorry!
