Avery has been having a really hard time with Don gone, so he promised her when we got back from camping and his last shift that he would take her out on a special date just the two of them. She was sooo excited. That was all she could talk about for days, which was a nice change from crying.
They went to go see Kung Fu Panda, then Red Robin for dinner. All her choice. She did her hair, nails, and even got new shoes for the date. It was really cute! Cooper and I ran errands, then went to Taco Bell for dinner, so not as fun or fancy. But it was time together! 
Only with Daddy this would happen!
