For Labor Day today the kids and I headed over to Canby Swan Island for the 2008 Annual Dahlia Festival. It was very pretty! I never knew there were so many different kinds. It was fun reading the signs with all the different names. We have been meaning to go for the last week, but we have either been busy, or it was raining. It turned out to be a great day, somewhat cloudy, but sunny. We looked at all the different flowers, ate lunch, then took the Canby Ferry across the river towards home which was a thrill. Amazing all the flowers God made! (Avery is giving the flower a kiss because the name of this Dahlia was "First Kiss.")
