Well our beloved Daisy (Hamster) went to be with the Lord last week. We came home from bible study and she was stiff as a board. The kids were not affected at first. Then about 5 minutes after discovering her, Avery lost it and cried for a few hours. Cooper was pretty okay, until just before bed. I had two screaming children and a dead rodent while Don was at work of course. Luckily the baby was sleeping otherwise I would have lost my mind. Cooper was so funny, he said that Daisy must have disobeyed God and that is why she died. The way children think is so cute sometimes!
So we got a new hamster a few days later. His name is Tinkerbell... we named him before we knew the sex. Don calls him TANKerbell. The kids love having a hamster and we cannot have a cat or dog, so it works. Pretty easy to take care of and he is really sweet with the kids already.
