Pumpkin Patch #1

So we will be going to many pumpkin patches, so that is why this one is posted as #1. We went today with Chris and Amy to Sauvies Island. It was an adventure, none of us have been before. It turned out to be the perfect day, sunny and warm.

Never again though will I go on a Saturday (It took us a hour 1/2 just to get off the island). Chris and Amy left at 4:30, got off at 6:00 or so. We thought we were smart by waiting longer after close (going to the beach and taking a tour of the island). Nope, still a 1 1/2 hour line for the only bridge to get off. There was a mini van driving the opposite direction selling pizzas to the cars waiting. It was crazy. So here is the line of traffic, and a sign that said "No stopping or parking". Funny! I wanted to shoot the sign, j/k!

But the kids had a good time and that is what matters. They loved the beach there. Next summer we will be hanging out there at least once if not more!
