So Avery is very particular about what food she eats. We say that she is going to be our healthy vegetarian in our family (except for hot dogs and chicken nuggets which are not really meat anyways right?). But a few weeks ago she insisted on getting this fish from the store and cooking it. This was not just any fish, it was the entire thing, head and all. So of course we took her up on it as long as she would try it.
We fried it up and she was so excited! She tried it, did not like it, but she tried it. She is expanding her horizons! We were very proud! She does say now that she wants to be a fisherman when she grows up, even though we have never taken her fishing. But whatever, it is cute!
