Awanas

Avery had done Awanas the last two years in NE Portland. We decided that on a Friday night however, it was to far to drive. So we enrolled both of them this year (now that Cooper is 3) at Rolling Hills Community Church in Tualatin on Thursday nights. They are both in Cubbies, Avery is a third year student. Awanas is a great program where they learn about God and also learn memorization of verses. I have to volunteer during their time there since they are in the younger class which at first Donny and I were bummed since we were looking at it as our night to have time to talk while they were in class. But I have enjoyed it so far and it gives Donny a two hour break to study. The kids love it.
