So we decided to spend Labor Day weekend as a family and get out of the house. We were going to go to the State fair, but then heard that 104.1 The Fish (Michelle's favorite station) was going to be at Oaks Park for family day. Plus, we got free ride tickets through them, so we spent money only on souvenirs for the kids. SWEET! 
We had a fun time, but Avery came down with a really high fever around lunch time, so it ended way to soon. But the kids loved the rides and we took a picnic for lunch. I forget how much fun Oaks Park was when I was a kid. We are going to try to take the kids more often.
